On Grove, investors will typically spend < 3 minutes per deal room. As a founder, this is your window to win them over and get them to connect with you in order to learn more about your business.

📃 Summary Guide

• Use clear and straight to the point language
• Be keen; avoiding spelling and grammatical errors. If need be, we recommend using Grammarly.
• Ensure sentences start with capital letters and end with full stops - you want to present strong written and communication skills.
• Company name should be written as a proper noun e.g., Pariti (not ‘pariti’ or ‘PARITI’). The exception is if your company name is an acronym or the name is written with capital letters by default.
• The company’s tag line should be informative and precise.
• DO NOT prefix your traction details with statements such as ‘Our traction is as follows:’. Go straight to writing your traction.
  • Enter each traction detail as one sentence and click ‘enter’
• Family and friends funding rounds are not considered ‘previous investors’. Previous investors is ONLY for Pre-Seed, Seed, Series A+, etc.
• Under investment entity, input the country where the company’s investment entity is registered (E.g., USA, Delaware C-Corp or Kenya or Mauritius). Most investors require companies to have their investment entity incorporated in commonly accepted countries.
  • NB: The company’s Investment Entity and the HQ can be different. E.g., Investment entity incorporated in USA, but the company is HQ’d in Kenya. Here, we’re asking for the Investment Entity.
