Once candidates pass the shortlist stage and move to the interviewing stage, they begin to engage with the company. Every company’s interview process differs.

Here’s what happens to your candidate at this stage:

  1. Once a candidate is shared with the company, we request feedback on the candidate's status. The company provides this feedback through their personalized dashboard and during our weekly check-ins with them

  2. If a candidate is rejected or accepted we share this information with the candidate and update the referrer dashboard statuses.

    1. Accepted candidates are sent a notification to connect with the company. Rejected candidates are informed that they have been rejected.
    2. The referrer will see that the referral has moved in the different stages. i.e “rejected” or “interviewing”
  3. Interview processes differ per company, for every stage, we shall notify the referrer through our dashboard on the stages. Referrals will get email notifications as their candidates progress.

  4. We always update candidates and referrers right away when we get company feedback. Sometimes the candidate may give feedback to the referrer even before the company gives us feedback.

  5. If a candidate is rejected by a company after an interview, the company sends an email to the candidate informing them of their decision and the reason for rejection. The candidate's status is updated on the referrer’s dashboard.

Important: We do not share the reason for rejections after an interview with the referrer because we consider that information to be confidential, only the candidate is informed by the company of their decision.

Why it may take time to get feedback on your candidate:

We are continually improving our process. But the company interview process is determined by the companies. We aim to increase the transparency and communication here as much as we can. You may experience some delays in getting feedback on the interview candidate because:

  1. The company is having internal discussions to change some of the role requirements
  2. The company might want to consider the candidate for another role they have open
  3. The company might want to await the outcome of some other interviews before planning the next batch of interviews etc.

Whatever the case you can reach out to us for pending status updates on your referrals. Send an email to [email protected]
