If you're a referrer on the Pariti Talent platform, you may be curious about how the shortlisting process works. This is the process by which Pariti reviews candidates and decides which ones to share with companies for potential job opportunities. All referred candidates would be contacted to indicate interest in the role. Once they confirm their interest, their profile would be reviewed.

Here is a description of the shortlisting process:

  1. Review candidates to check if they meet JD requirements

Pariti will review the candidate's CV and LinkedIn profile to determine if they meet the job description (JD) requirements and the company's non-negotiables.

    1. If they meet the requirements, they are accepted.
    2. If they do not meet the requirements, they are rejected by Pariti. A candidate may be rejected for the following reasons:
      1. The candidate has not met most of the top qualifications.
      2. The candidate has recently taken a new job.
      3. The candidate has not specified their KPIs in their profile, which could be their resume or LinkedIn profile.
      4. The candidate has red flags in their CV or LinkedIn profile, such as misspellings or career gaps.
  2. Share candidate with the company:

Pariti will share the candidate's profile with the company to begin the interview process. When their profile is shared with the company their status would be updated to “Shortlisted”. Once the company accepts to interview the candidate, they schedule the first interview.

  3. The company reviews the candidate:

Companies have different approaches at this stage. However, here are some things to note:

    1. The company may review all shared profiles at once and continue to receive profiles.
    2. The company may review all shared profiles at once and stop receiving profiles temporarily.
    3. The company may review some shared profiles and review the remaining profiles on a rolling basis and continue to receive profiles.
    4. The company may review some shared profiles, and review the remaining profiles on a rolling basis and stop receiving profiles.
    5. The turnaround time for this process depends entirely on the company's recruitment process and calendar.
